Swallowed by the night

I turned the other cheek

but you caught it anyway

under stairs and stripes and scares

just leave me where I lay

today.

Could you cry in bliss

and starve the kiss

of ravens laugh and flight?

As I dare despair

that raven stare

I leave you now tonight.

just don’t loose sight.

It rashes me

this bitter thought

that quenches my delight

I couldnt care the prayer

you said for me

For I was swallowed by the night
